It's nice to see crippling attacks finally mean something in PvE now. Rarely did anyone even bother with it before. My heroes are all equipped with either crippling or degen.

It's a damn good tactic if they get you to chase them across the whole map, aggroing everything in sight.

Also question : Is hitting an immortal opponent (monk tanking) and killing yourself (monk smiting the tank) not retarded?

here is my senario for really good AI programing...
your team of eight lvl 20 find a party of four lvl 3 corsairs...
the first three melee based chars die in seconds...and the last guy does this;
/dance
Lone soon-to-be dead guy: GG
Lone soon-to-be dead guy drops dieing breath.
then Ill buy into the whole realistic AI..

Not once did they even notice that I or the rest of the heros being there. Starter Shing Jea chest piece from 55 setup for me until Koss had AL above 60.
Might try doing something similar with my necro's heroes tonight.

yes, the new AI is just not very smart.
but the side benefit is I have been powerleveling my henchies like that as well lol. Just take my level 20 monk and let them whack away at my warrior, I don't think I've ever done anything easier in gw.

perhaps using bullstrike or bull charge <e> would also help?

The AI needs to be fixed...
1. they shouldnt run from all aoe damage
2. thier wars should have a crippleig move and the monks should only move enough to stay out of attack range of the enemy war.
3.something that might be off topic but... Thier skill bars need to be redisigned because the enemy eles usually have thier points spread out on all thier attributs and skills from everything, if the skill bars were actually sensinble, the designers might only need to make monsters lvl 24, not 28, and so on.

1. yes they should, PvE needs something to challenge people.
2. Monks should keep well clear of the aggro circle just like any human monk should do.
3. level28 mobs are fine, any decent group can wipe the floor with any mob no matter what lvl they are.

1. Yes it is a challange as in you cant solo farm anymore. Other than that its worse. As long as a tank is up, tank is targeted, noone bothers the back line.
2. Casters in general, Monks in particular run when attacked. Then you stop attacking them, they return. Then you flee the enemy (and your henchies now flee much more effectively). The monks chase you, the rest of the mob dont. Do this 2-3 times monks dead. Go finish the mob with no monks. OMG THE CHALLENGE!!!
3. Curiously, the lvl 28 mobs are easier and dumber now. Guess 5 person groups led by warriors will make a comeback to TotPK.
